Common questions
How do I get started?
Request access from the site, then sign in at app.ownos.app. Create your first Space and start adding tasks, notes, and contacts. More detail is in the getting started docs.
How do I export my data?
You can export your data anytime as JSON (machine-readable) or PDF (for reading). Spaces can also be exported individually — see exporting Spaces in the docs.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account in one click from Settings. No lock-in, no hoops. Active data is removed from our systems promptly; see the Privacy Policy for retention details.
Is OwnOS still in beta?
Yes. Some features may be incomplete or change before general release. Please keep independent backups of anything critical — details are in the Terms of Service.
Where can I learn about privacy and security?
Start with our Privacy Policy and Security page. Short version: we collect only what's needed, we don't sell your data, and we don't use your content to train AI models.
